Wellbeing Worker 

Are you passionate about making a difference in a charity where our mission is to improve the quality of life for local people with sight loss? 
 
LOCATION: Ryedale (Office: Norton, Malton) 
 
SALARY: £19,743.36 per annum, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. (FTE £26,089) 
 
HOURS: Part-time, 28 hours per week. Fixed term contract until 31st March 2027, with the potential to extend further, subject to continued funding. 
 
CLOSING DATE: There is no fixed closing date. We will interview suitable candidates as applications are received. Recruitment will close once the post has been filled. 
 
INTERVIEW DATE: To be arranged. 

The Role 

As part of the role, you will: 
Provide comprehensive assessments, identify risk and provide support 
Have some knowledge of Accessibility Technology. 
Work within a Community setting. 
 
To be successful for this post: 
You will be a highly motivated individual and have experience in a similar role 
You will have a good understanding of Vision Loss. 
You will have a good understanding of Safeguarding and be able to carry out Risk Assessments.
