FUNDRAISING

Get Involved in Fundraising

Fundraising is a fun and rewarding way to support our work. By giving a little of your time, you can help raise vital funds to support people living with sight loss across Ryedale to live independently and with confidence.

There’s no single way to fundraise; whether you’re planning an event, teaming up with others, or taking on a challenge of your own, we’re happy to support you. If you have an idea (or need help coming up with one), we’re here to guide you from start to finish.

If you’re looking for inspiration, here are a few ways to get started:
Take on a sponsored challenge
Run, walk, cycle or sign up for a local event and ask friends and family to sponsor you.
Host a quiz night
An easy and enjoyable way to raise money. Simply ask participants to pay a small fee to join in.
Organise a jumble sale
Turn unwanted items into vital funds. A themed or vintage clothing sale can be especially popular.
Run a coffee morning or cake sale
Ideal for offices or community spaces. Ask people to donate cakes, enjoy a break together, and ask for donations.

Every fundraiser, no matter the size, helps us continue our vital work. If you’re ready to get involved or want to talk through an idea, we’d love to hear from you. Please email enquiries@sightsupportryedale.org or call 01653 698 860.
