Are you interested in learning more about digital braille technology? We're delighted to launch our new Digital Braille workshops, offering a friendly and supportive introduction to braille and digital braille devices.
These informal, fortnightly sessions are open to anyone who would like to explore braille. While they are not an accredited course or formal braille qualification, they provide a relaxed environment where you can:
Learn the braille alphabet
Explore how to use a digital braille display
Practise reading and writing basic braille
Build your confidence at your own pace
Whether you're completely new to braille or simply curious about how digital braille technology can support everyday life, you'll receive a warm welcome.
The workshops take place during Friendship Group at Norton Hive Library and Community Hub on Mondays (fortnightly) from 10 - 12, as part of our Digital Inclusion project.
We'd love you to join us and discover how digital braille technology can open up new opportunities for learning, communication and independence.
